Wrong wheels....A CLASSIC CAR needs to be CLASSIC. Not "fixed up" with new stuff. The worst thing that can happen with a CLASSIC CAR is to "resto-mod" it and completely RUIN it. I went to a car show and the "Best Muscle Car" was a complete resto-mod 1989 Camero! "Muscle Car??" Yeah, right.

its a shame in 1967 only six was made with 327 l79 eng 4 with m20 trans 2 with m21 trans the true 283 will only have 2barrel carbs 4bl 283 werent available in chevy2 in 1967

The factory cowl hood looks better.

Don't like the hood, but other than that, it's flawless. The Weld center caps should be blue. I worked at Nationwise Auto Parts in Indy when they went from blue to black. Nobody liked the switch.

There is a way to settle the question of if it's a real SS 396 or not . On the '66-'68 SS cars , the trim tag on the firewall will have the code 13837 on it . The 1 is for Chevrolet , the 38 is for SS , and the 37 is for sport coupe ( two door hardtop ) , El Caminos used the number 80 . I think convertibles were 36 , but don't hold me to it . '69 and newer Chevelles didn't use this code , Thanks GM . The grill should be blacked out , the wheels are '69-'70 ONLY . The blackout panel between the taillights should extend upwards to the trunk seal . The color is called Grecian Green .

I like the '69 Corvette coupe feachered (?) on this video. Mostly because it has an automatic transmission--which I can't drive a stick shift car. This is me, personnally speaking. I have liked Chevy's Corvette sportscar for quite a long, long time. thank you for feachering (?) this car! bye....

I had a ‘72 Le Mans Sport that I would’ve kept if a convertible. It had the wheel rings, rally wheels, sport mirrors, white interior, regular steering wheel. Mine didn’t have the GTO add ons, but was a 400 4b. Had A/C also. All I did to it was install an FM/tape player & bigger speakers. Loved that as a first car. Was regularly cruising over 100 mph with ease. Would love to have this as a convertible.

The 67 hidden headlights were electric to begin with. The 68 and 69 were vacuum junk.

I had a dark Red 67 Chevelle SS 327 eng. back in 1973 THIS. WAS ONE THE best car car I have ever drive I have a lot of beautiful memories driving that wonderful Car I wish I had never sold it if you have one do not sell it….!!!!!!!
